Team

Three people run this site. We are not a company, and we are not a content agency. All three of us worked at Kuaishou Technology or on its apps before this, which is the reason the guides here can explain why a download behaves the way it does instead of guessing.

Who does what

Ishtiaq Turi founded the site. He writes every guide, builds and maintains the tool, and answers the email. His author page lists everything he has written.

Amir Khan reviews the pages that make claims about law, privacy and what the tool refuses to do. He is a lawyer turned content operations specialist and a former Head of Trust & Safety across platforms including SnackVideo and Bigo. More about Amir.

Adeel Ashraf tests. He re-runs downloads across devices and link formats and checks the resolutions and formats the tool reports against the files it really returns. He worked at Kuaishou Technology from 2021 to 2023 and is an Operations Manager at Bigo Live. More about Adeel.

How we credit work

One writer means one byline. Every guide on this site is written by Ishtiaq, and no article is attributed to anyone who did not write it.

Review works the same way. A page shows a review byline only after that review has happened, with the date it happened. We do not add review credits in advance, and we do not list reviewers on pages they have not read. The editorial guidelines set out the full standard, including what this site will not publish.
