Kuaishou and Kwai Links: Which Ones Work, With Examples
Every Kuaishou and Kwai link format, which ones the downloader accepts, and how to pull a working link out of a messy share message or 口令 code.
Already have a link? Paste it into the downloader and skip ahead.
Open the downloaderA link works in the downloader if it opens one public video. Kuaishou share links start with v.kuaishou.com and Kwai share links start with k.kwai.com. Full video addresses from kuaishou.com and kwai.com work too. Profiles, live streams, live replays, photo slideshows and search pages don’t.
In the examples below, [code] and 3x... stand for the letters and numbers in your own link.
Why the format matters
Tapping Share doesn’t copy the video file. It copies an address that leads to the video’s page. The downloader opens that page as a logged-out visitor and finds the file the page plays. So the link has to land on a page with exactly one video on it. A profile has dozens, and a live stream has no finished file at all.
Kuaishou (China) links
| Format | Example | Works? |
|---|---|---|
| App short link | https://v.kuaishou.com/[code] | Yes |
| Web video page | https://www.kuaishou.com/short-video/3x... | Yes, including extra text after ? such as ?authorId=... |
| Mobile share page | https://v.m.chenzhongtech.com/fw/photo/3x... | Yes. The start of the address sometimes changes, for example abc123.m.chenzhongtech.com. |
| Mobile share page | https://m.gifshow.com/fw/photo/3x... | Yes |
| Long video page | https://v.m.chenzhongtech.com/fw/long-video/3x... | Yes |

| Photo slideshow (图集) | Any post made of photos | No. Only video posts for now. |
Why chenzhongtech.com and gifshow.com? Kuaishou uses these domains for its mobile share pages. GIF Kuaishou was the company’s original name. When you open a v.kuaishou.com short link, it usually redirects to one of them. Seeing them is normal, and they’re safe to paste.
Kwai (international) links
| Format | Example | Works? |
|---|---|---|
| App short link | https://k.kwai.com/p/[code] | Yes |
| Web video page | https://www.kwai.com/@name/video/52... | Yes |
| Web video page, no username | https://www.kwai.com/video/52... | Yes, though the caption and creator name may come up blank |

Snack Video links. In Pakistan, India and Indonesia, the company’s app has also been called Snack Video. The downloader doesn’t accept Snack Video links yet.
Cleaning up a share message
The apps usually copy a sentence along with the link. A Kuaishou one looks like this:
https://v.kuaishou.com/[code] 复制此消息,打开【快手】直接观看!
Paste the whole thing. The downloader picks out the first Kuaishou or Kwai address and ignores the rest, emoji and Chinese text included. If you’re cleaning it by hand, keep everything from https:// up to the first space.
Links that look right but fail
- Cut-off links. Chat apps sometimes shorten a long link or wrap it onto two lines. Copy it again straight from the app.
- Dead short links. A dead Kuaishou short link sends you to the Kuaishou homepage, so the tool reports “not found”. Copy a fresh link.
- 口令 (password) codes. Some Kuaishou versions share a string of symbols and words with no
https://in it. It only opens inside the app. Open the video in a browser and copy the address bar instead. - Wrapped links. A link run through bit.ly, an ad tracker or another redirect service gets rejected, because the tool only follows Kuaishou and Kwai addresses. Open the link first, then copy the final address.
Is it safe to paste these links?
Yes. A share link points to a public video. It doesn’t hold your password or account details. Some links carry share parameters that tell the platform who shared them. The tool passes those to Kuaishou or Kwai unchanged, because the platform uses them to find the video, and it doesn’t store them. The privacy policy has the details.
